Dear Felicita Villas Homeowner/Resident:

In order to provide a venue for community discussion and networking, I have set-up a message/discussion board for you to use. Please print out these instructions before clicking on the hyperlink below. 

These instructions will lead you through the process of joining "The Felicita Villas Message/Discussion Board."  Once you have done this, you can use the other link on my site to immediately get you to the board. 

1)  Click on the hyperlink below (at the end of the page).

2)  Click on the "Join This Group" blue button on the screen.

3)  If you have a Yahoo ID and password, you can enter it in on this screen.  If you don't, you can register to get a Yahoo! ID (Free and simple to do).  You will see "Don't Have a Yahoo ID?" Click Sign Up and then follow the instructions. 

4)  Now that you have registered - write down your Yahoo ID and Password so you can use again. 

5)  Click on the button "Continue Without Installing Yahoo Toolbar" which will take you to the message/discussion board "PREFERENCE PAGE." 

6)  Choose your preferences (this page will prompt you to choose your preferences).

7)  Click JOIN.

8)  VERY IMPORTANT - You will then be on a Membership Confirmed Page - UNCHECK THE BOX that says "Optional Install YAHOO! Toolbar ....." (unless you want that toolbar).  Click Continue and then you are signed up for the group!  You will now be on the homepage where you can post a message, read messages, etc., etc. Now read the rest of these instructions and they will define your options with the message board.  

9)  You will see that the left side has numerous hyperlinks -

Home (which is the message board home page)

Messages (to view messages on the board).  You can also respond to a message here as well. 

Post (click this to post a message).  It takes 5-10 minutes for your message to post and arrive in other members mailboxes and also post on the board, so be patient.  It also takes the same amount of time for your reply to be posted as well.

Calendar - This is where you can post an event for everyone to see!!!

Files - This is where a file can be viewed by all. 

Photos - This is where anyone can create a photo album for other members to see.  This could be a nice source to share photos from a social or event!  Anyone can upload photos for viewing.

Members - You can see who has joined the group and email someone directly if you like.

Database - This is where you can share recipes, phone #s, or other information with the group.

Links - You can view and add hyperlinks to websites.

To access the message/discussion board in the future simply go to my website and click on the "MESSAGE/DISCUSSION BOARD" button under the Felicita Villas heading on the left.  Click on "SIGN IN" at the top of the page and enter your Yahoo user ID and password and you will be signed in!
