One of the biggest problems isn’t the foreclosure rate – but the lack of loan modifications (according to the Center for Responsible Lending, a nonprofit, nonpartisan research and policy organization). This organization is seeing a pace of only 1 out of every 10 at-risk loans being modified!

Timing is critical. You need to have a back-up plan while you are pursuing a loan modification. In the event you do not qualify for a loan modification, or your request has been denied, you will be ready to explore other options.
