THE BEKMANIS GROUP GIVES BACK TO THE

HELEN KELLER INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION

Little Boy Standing Portrait

Children in low-income families around the world often go without vital nutrition and vision care.

The Bekmanis Group is honored to support the Helen Keller International Foundation in their effort to end vision loss, hunger and malnutrition. Global hunger has reached unprecedented levels and according to World Vision an estimated 21 million children are impacted. Malnutrition leads to vision issues and blindness and a simple, inexpensive supplement of Vitamin A can turn a child's life around. It strengthens vision, prevents blindness and builds the immune system to fight illnesses. On a local level we continue to support Interfaith, a large local food bank, through donations and food drives in San Diego County.

"Giving The Gift Of Sight Is One Of My Greatest Joys!"
Geri Bekmanis CEO, The Bekmanis Group

Hunger is the biggest threat to a child’s vision and life. An estimated 828 million people go to bed hungry every night. Children's growing bodies need nutrition to grow, develop and thrive. I have been personally impacted by vision and ocular health issues and am thrilled to be able to make an impact in this arena through Helen Keller International.
